The United States Embassy in Mogadishu sent a message of condolences to victims of Friday’s deadly terror attack in Jubbaland.
Yesterday, a suicide bombing attack killed several people, including the Chairman of the Jubbaland Chamber of Commerce, Shafi’i Raabi Kahin.
His nephew, who emerged one of the top 100 students in the recently concluded high school examinations, was also killed in the deadly incident.
The US Embassy sent condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
It also offered its support to the Jubbaland Regional Administration.
Furthermore, the Embassy called the attack, which took place right outside a mosque in Kismayo, “shameful.”
The Embassy released a statement condemning the terror attacks. Such attacks have increased in frequency in recent months.
