The government of the United States has placed a $5 million bounty on the head of an Al-Shabaab bomb expert.
The US State Department announced the bounty on Wednesday.
It is for anyone with information that leads to the arrest of Abdullahi Osman Mohamed.
He has been one of the leaders of the terrorist group.
Mohamed has also served as Al-Shabaab’s bomb expert.
On top of that, Mohamed, who is also known as Engineer Ismail, is in charge of Al-Kataib.
Al-Kataib is the militant group’s media department.
For years, Engineer Ismail has been a specia advisor to Ahmad Diriye, the de facto leader of Al-Shabaab.
