The United States has pledged to continue providing training and equipment to professionals in the aviation industry in Somalia.
The US Embassy in Mogadishu issued this pledge on December 7 during International Civil Aviation Day.
Officials from the US Embassy met with Fardowsa Osman Egal, the federal Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation on Wednesday.
They assured her of the continued support of the US government towards the ministry.
Furthermore, the Embassy officials also pledged to continue providing the training and equipment needed to ensure that the aviation industry in Somalia is safe for all.
