The United States shares Somalia’s goal of defeating and eradicating Al-Shabaab completely.
US Ambassador to Somalia Richard H. Riley said this during his meeting with Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur on Tuesday.
Amb. Riley discussed the shared goal of defeating Al-Shabaab with Nur.
“We remain committed to supporting Somalia in improving its security,” Amb. Riley told the Minister of Defense.
He added that the US would help Somalia to build strong defense institutions.
