The United States is ready to build five state-of-the-art military bases in Somalia.
The US announced this through Molly Phee.
Molly, the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, made the announcement when she met President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Thursday.
Somalia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the US towards this.
Molly and President Mohamud witnessed the signing ceremony.
The new bases will be in Mogadishu, Baidoa, Kismayo, Jowhar, and Dhusamareb.
Specifically, they will be for SNA’s elite Danab Forces.
