The United States government is to donate 336,000 additional Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines to Somalia.
According to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Somalia will receive the new batch of vaccines soon.
USAID announced that the vaccines would be an addition to the 302,400 doses that Somalia received from the US through the COVAX facility in August 2021.
As per the statement from the US agency, the new doses would enable Somalia to expand its COVID-19 vaccination coverage.
