USAID Enrolls over 9,000 Somali Girls in Non-Formal Education Centers

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has enrolled over 9,000 Somali girls in non-formal education centers around the country.

USAID announced this on Friday in its latest report.

It added that the USAID Somalia office worked hard to ensure that 9,928 Somali girls who were out of school can now receive quality education and improve their lives.

The girls are now enrolled in non-formal education centers in 18 districts around the country.

USAID enrolled them through its Adolescent Girls’ Education (AGES) program.
