USAID Funding Youths’s Agribusiness Projects in Somalia

The USAID Somalia is funding youths who are interested in agribusiness projects around the country.

Somali youths around the East Africa nation are now able to invest in and maximize greenhouse technology to improve their crop yield.

The global organization is able to do this through a project it created.

The project, which is known as Growth, Enterprise, Employment, and Livelihoods (GEEL), has been supporting the dreams and aspirations of many Somali youths.

Through it, youths no longer have to worry about limited land resources.

The lack of adequate land for planting has been a huge deterrent among youths who would love nothing but to move into agribusiness.

With the help of both USAID Somalia and GEEL, the youths can now look forward to producing and supplying the country with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Moreover, they are earning good income while contributing heavily to providing the nutrition and food security that the nation craves.
