USAID Organizes Training for 197 Head Teachers in Somalia

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) recently organized a training workshop for accelerated basic education headteachers in Somalia.

USAID organized the training in conjunction with the US Embassy in Mogadishu.

According to a communiqué from the US Embassy, the training workshop was for 197 basic education headteachers from different parts of the country.

Participants were from the federal Ministry of Education.

Others were from the regional states’ education ministries.

Headteachers were the primary targets of the training, which sought to equip them with the best practices for collecting data and improving the quality of education.
