The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) provides clean water to 196 schools in drought-hit areas.
USAID Somalia adds that it has been providing schools with access to clean water through the USAID Bar Ama Baro program.
“Without access to clean water, most students would leave school thus interfering with their education,” USAID stated in its report.
The schools benefiting from the ongoing campaign by USAID Somalia are located in different parts of the country.
