The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to support the priorities of Somalia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports.
On Sunday, a meeting between Mohamed Bare Mohamud and Larry Andre in Mogadishu helped to set the stage for the cooperation between USAID Somalia and the ministry.
Mohamud is the federal Minister of Youth and Sports while Andre is the US Ambassador to Somalia.
Specifically, the minister and the US Ambassador agreed to bring USAID on board to support the development of skills among the youth.
