United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are determined to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Somalia.
The two organizations said that they would work closely with the Ministry of Health to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Somalia.
They have launched a joint program with the health ministry to fill current needs regarding the prevention of the community spread of COVID-19.
Through the project, stakeholders seek to address existing gaps in the coordination, surveillance, and vaccination activities around the country.
They launched the project on Friday, August 26.
