Victims of Jowhar Bomb Attack Airlifted to Mogadishu for Further Medical Treatment

Victims of the recent bomb attack in Jowhar have been airlifted to Mogadishu to receive further medical treatment.

The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) airlifted those injured in the attack to the national capital city for further treatment.

Khadija Mohamed Diriye, the federal Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, led a government team in receiving the injured.

The plane carrying those injured in the attack landed at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on July 18.

HirShabelle’s President Ali Gudlawe confirmed that three people died in the attack.

In his statement, President Gudlawe also indicated that seven people were injured in Sunday’s attack at a popular hotel.
