The leader of Somalia’s Wadajir Party hosted delegations from three Federal Member States (FMS) at his home on Friday afternoon.
Abdirahman Abdishakur, the leader of the opposition party, invited delegations from Jubbaland, Puntland, and Galmudug to his official residence in Mogadishu.
He prepared a meal for the members of the delegations before leading them into a lively discussion of issues affecting the East African nation.
Mursal M. Khaliif, Jubbaland’s Minister of Health, was part of the delegation.
Khaliif expressed his appreciation to Abdishakur terming the gesture “a true sign of good leadership.”
He commended Abdishakur for bringing different groups together to discuss issues that are pertinent to the country’s future.
