Abdirahman Abdishakur, the leader of Wadajir Party, held a meeting with President Ahmed Abdi Kariye of Galmudug state.
The meeting, which lasted several hours, was the first between the two leaders since the Dhusamareb III talks ended a week ago.
Abdishakur said the meeting delved into the current situation in Galmudug state.
Further, he said they discussed the prevailing political situation in Somalia vis-à-vis the recently signed agreement on electoral model for the country’s upcoming elections.
President Kariye was at the Dhusamareb III talks with other leaders of Federal Member States.
The leader of the Wadajir Party said he discussed the success achieved from all the three recent Dhusamareb talks.
Abdishakur and Kariye met on Wednesday August 26.
