WASH Cluster Somalia received $28.9 million to support vulnerable families in various parts of the country.
A communiqué from WASH Cluster indicates that it had appealed for $114.9 million.
However, the organization never received the full amount.
The initial appeal was to help WASH Cluster reach as many as 3.2 million around the country with emergency humanitarian assistance.
WASH Cluster appealed for the funding through the 2022 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP).
As of July 14, it had only received 29 percent of the funding thus unable to provide life-saving assistance to as many people as those who needed it.
