WASH Cluster Somalia has reported more than 6,000 cholera cases in several Federal Member States (FMS) around the country.
The organization issued a report on July 12 indicating that 6,681 cases of cholera and acute water diarrhea have occurred around the country.
Southwest, HirShabelle, Jubbaland, Galmudug, and Banadir are the regional states in question.
Banadir leads with over 3,400 cases. The Bay region and Lower Shabelle follow next. Gedo and Mudug have the lowest numbers with three each.
