Weapons that Al-Shabaab terrorists looted when they attacked the forward operating base (FOB) in Bulo Marer on May 26 have been recovered.
A joint operation by Somali National Army (SNA) and African Union Transition Mission to Somalia (ATMIS) led to the recovery of the weapons.
The operation took place a few days after the deadly incident last week.
ATMIS sources added that they recovered the weapons from fleeing terrorists.
