A conference on the management of weapons and ammunition has kicked off in Mogadishu.
The 2-day conference kicked off in the capital city of Somalia on Tuesday.
Abdifitah Qasim, the federal Deputy Minister of Defense, opened the conference officially.
Several stakeholders from Somalia and beyond attended the conference.
Participants will discuss the oversight, accountability, and governance of arms and ammunition.
