A delegation from the World Food Programme (WFP) visited internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps in Baidoa.
The WFP team visited the camps on Tuesday, March 29.
They were in the company of officials from the regional state of Southwest when assessing the living conditions at the IDP camps.
While at the camps, they spoke with newly arrived persons at the camps.
The camps are also homes to a new team of persons who escaped hardships experienced back at their homes caused by the ongoing drought.
