The Deputy Director General of the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA), Abdirahman Said, hosted a delegation from the World Food Programme (WFP) Somalia, led by Deputy Country Director Marco Selva, at the NIRA Headquarters in Mogadishu.
The discussion during Monday meeting centered on collaborative efforts to improve Somalia’s National ID System and to consider potential integrations with other systems.
To advance this partnership, both parties agreed to designate technical teams tasked with identifying specific areas for collaboration in future meetings.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance ID services, with a particular focus on improving access and support for vulnerable communities across Somalia.
