The donation of wheat from Russia has finally arrived in Mogadishu.
Mikhail Golovanov, the Russian Ambassador to Somalia, landed in Mogadishu with the wheat on Sunday.
Amb. Golovanov delivered the shipment of 25,000 tons of wheat to Somali officials.
Daud Aweis, the Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, led other officials in receiving the wheat.
Aweis thanked Russia for supporting humanitarian efforts in Somalia.
