The wife of a former President of Somalia has died in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Hawa Ali Samatar, the wife of ex-President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed, reportedly passed away in UAE on May 11.
Members of the former First Lady’s family confirmed her death to the public on Wednesday.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo led several Somalia leaders in paying their respects to the former First Lady’s family.
