The Ministry of Women and Human Rights Development has presented a draft action plan on child protection.
Hanifa Habsade, the Minister of Women and Human Rights Development, presented the action plan in Mogadishu on January 19.
The minister was speaking on the final day of the four-day meeting held to discuss and develop a joint strategic plan for protecting young children in the Horn of Africa nation.
Representatives from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS) participated in the meeting.
Habsade expressed her gratitude and that of the women’s ministry to the representatives from the federal and regional government for contributing to make the four-day meeting a success.
