Workshop to Discuss Regulation of Private Employment Agencies Starts in Mogadishu

The State Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, Yusuf Mohamed, has inaugurated the National Consultation Workshop on the Regulation of Private Employment Agencies in Mogadishu.

Mohamed declared the workshop officially inaugurated on Sunday.

This significant event brings together key stakeholders, including government officials, labor representatives, and industry leaders.

They all seek to collaborate on the development of policies aimed at ensuring the effective regulation of private employment agencies.

The primary focus of the workshop is to safeguard workers’ rights and enhance the overall labor environment in Somalia.

Through these discussions, the ministry aims to improve employment standards and protect the interests of Somali workers, particularly those engaged with private employment agencies.
