World Bank Donates $100 Million to Flood Victims in Somalia

World Bank has donated $100 million to help the victims of floods in Somalia.

While making the donation, the World Bank stated that the funds would help over 200,000 people affected by floods in the country.

Close to 215,000 households will receive emergency cash transfers through the Somalia Shock Responsive Safety Net for Human Capital Project (SNHCP).

SNHCP is funded by the World Bank.

World Bank announced the disbursement of the funds on Wednesday.
