A young female doctor who was recently shot by a soldier was laid to rest in Mogadishu.
Dr. Maria Mohamed, the young doctor, was shot on December 9 while in her car driving to work.
The soldier who shot her did saw while trying to clear traffic jam.
Following the serious injuries that she suffered, Dr. Mohamed later went into a coma.
Since then, she has been in hospital in coma for the last 11 days. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries on December 22.
Immediately afterward, Dr. Mohamed was laid to rest in Mogadishu.
Hers was the latest in a series of deaths caused by security agents in different parts of the East African nation.
