An 11-month-old girl from Somalia has undergone a successful heart procedure in India.
11-month-old Mustalfo Abdirisak Ahmed was in Hyderabad’s Medicover Hospitals for Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), a minimally invasive procedure.
Mustalfo had been diagnosed with congenital heart defect.
She was unable to get any medical assistance back in Somalia hence the decision to fly her out of the country for an advanced procedure.
