History was made in Harardheere on Saturday when 110 students returned to school for the first time in 10 years.
The students comprise those in primary and secondary schools.
They had been unable to attend their classes as Harardheere was in the tight control of Al-Shabaab militants for over a decade.
They can now go to school after the military liberated Harardheere from Al-Shabaab.
