134 Somali Immigrants Previously Stranded in Libya Arrive Home

The Federal Government of Somalia welcomed 134 Somali immigrants stranded in Libya back home on Wednesday.

The plane carrying the returnees arrived at the Aden Adde International Airport early on Wednesday from Tripoli.

This marks a significant step in its efforts to assist citizens in distress abroad, showcasing the government’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by Somalis in difficult circumstances internationally.

The returnees were likely part of a coordinated repatriation initiative supported by Somali authorities and international partners.
