16 Suspects Arrested over Terror Attack at Mogadishu’s SYL Hotel

Sixteen suspects have been arrested over their role in the recent terror attack at Mogadishu’s SYL Hotel.

Officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) arrested the suspects on Saturday evening.

Those arrested include Abdinasir Dahir Noor, who is suspected of planning the entire attack.

NISA accuses Noor of providing the actual shooters with access to and from the scene of their deadly crime.

Furthermore, NISA also arrested four people who own the vehicles used in the attack.

Five security personnel from the nearby police checkpoints are also under investigation for their role in the incident.

Four people lost their lives while dozens more suffered different injuries in the attack.

The government had to fly many to Turkey for advanced medical treatment.
