22 Somali Police Officers Attend ATMIS Training on Policing

Twenty two Somali Police Force (SPF) officers are undertaking training on policing.

The training is by the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).

It kicked off at the Lower Jubaland State Police Headquarters on Tuesday.

ATMIS Police unit will facilitate the training.

Col. Sadik Mohamed Dhogor, chief of the Lower Jubaland State Police, attended the first day of training.

He expressed gratitude to ATMIS for supporting and improving the policing capacity of the SPF.
