Around 387,000 voters registered for the Puntland elections that took place on May 25.
The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) confirmed this on Thursday.
Over the last few days, TPEC has repeatedly urged registered voters to pick their voting cards.
Voters now get a chance to exercise their democratic rights in Thursday’s local government elections (LGEs).
TPEC’s figures show that 49.7 percent of the voters are women.
Further, the data indicates that 60.6 percent of the voters are youths aged 18-30 years.
The electoral body urged more voters to go out and vote as their voice matters.
