Forty-nine people lost their lives when a boat carrying migrants from Somalia capsized off the coast of Yemen.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) confirmed the incident.
IOM reported that the incident took place earlier this week.
At the time of the incident, the boat was full of 260 migrants. IOM added that a further 140 migrants were still missing.
The boat left Bosaso at 3am on Sunday morning.
It was transporting 115 Somalis and 145 Ethiopians before capsizing in the Gulf of Aden, which is not far from Alghareef Point.
