A town in Somalia’s regional state of Puntland signed a twinning agreement with Columbia Heights in Minnesota.
Mayor Abdifatah Sheikh Ibrahim signed the agreement with Mayor Amada Marquez Simula of Galdogob and Columbia Heights respectively.
They signed the agreement on July 5.
Through the agreement, residents of the two cities would now be free to develop commercial and cultural relations.
Ayanle Mohamed Jamaac will operate and coordinate the twinning project.
