Somalia’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs has urged the African Union (AU) to lift the arms embargo against the country.
Balal Mohamed Cusman, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, said this while addressing the 41st Ordinary Session of AU’s Executive Council in Lusaka, Zambia.
Cusman made the call while attending the session on Saturday, July 16.
He informed the AU’s Executive Council and 4th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting, that the arms embargo continues to hurt Somalia.
