Reports from the United States African Command (AFRICOM) indicate that the latest airstrike conducted in Somalia killed one Al-Shabaab fighter.
AFRICOM released a press statement saying it carried out the drone attack in conjunction with the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) troops.
The raid, which took place on Thursday August 20, targeted a known terrorist operating from Kurtun Warey.
