Somalia’s Ministry of Agriculture has inaugurated the country’s first-ever agricultural laboratory in Mogadishu.
This new facility will enable advanced soil testing, pest control analysis, irrigation quality monitoring, and food safety assessments.
According to the ministry, the lab is a significant step forward in enhancing the quality and sustainability of Somalia’s agricultural practices.
Its ultimate goal is to position Somali produce for entry into international markets.
