Three Al-Shabaab militants were executed by a Somalia court after it found them guilty of committing numerous assassinations around the country.
The three militants were adjudged to have assassinated three army officers, two police officers, and a regional court prosecutor in Mogadishu.
They committed the killings over a long period.
Mohamed Haji Ilka Asse, a college tutor, was one of the three the court ordered assassinated.
His colleagues included Ahmed Mohamed Hashim and Salim Said Mohamed.
The three extremists were arrested in December 2019 in Mogadishu after the Al-Qaeda linked group had carried out a series of killings in the capital city.
Asse, Hashim, and Mohamed were all executed on Saturday, November 28.
