Al-Shabaab militants riding a motorbike in Mogadishu clashed with several undercover agents working for the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
According to military sources, the extremists accosted the undercover agents in Mogadishu.
At the time of the incident, the NISA agents were part of a team protecting CCTV surveillance cameras installed along Mogadishu’s Dabka Junction.
Sources from Somali Police Force (SPF) confirmed that three of the extremists were killed while several others were injured.
It was not clear why the militants targeted the undercover agents, though.
