One of Al-Shabaab’s most senior leaders has surrendered to the Somali National Army (SNA).
Abdi Hassan Hulbale surrendered to the government forces on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old Hulbale has been with Al-Shabaab for the past 9 years.
He surrendered to the SNA forces in Janale town.
