The Somali Police Force (SPF) has introduced a mandatory security clearance letter for all foreigners working in Mogadishu.
This is part of efforts by the police to enhance security in the capital.
International organizations have been directed to cease collaboration with NGOs that do not possess this clearance.
According to police spokesperson Abdifatah Adan, the measure aims to strengthen security protocols and ensure the safety of both locals and international workers in the city.
This step reflects ongoing efforts to stabilize Mogadishu and mitigate potential security risks.
