The three main political parties in Somaliland are ready to work together to deliver peaceful elections this year.
Somaliland is scheduled to hold presidential and parliamentary elections in November.
According to the leader of UCID, the party together with Waddani and Kulmiye parties have agreed to hold peaceful campaigns and elections.
Officials from the three parties attended a tripartite meeting last week.
Those who represented their parties at the meeting included Mohamed Kahin Ahmed and Eng. Faisal Ali Warabe for Kulmiye and Waddani respectively.
Speaking to the media, the UCID leader assured the public that all parties had resolved their differences.
