Larry Andre, the United States Ambassador to Somalia, visited a US warship on the coast of the East African nation.
Ambassador Andre was in the company of Somali National Army (SNA) Commander, General Odowaa Yusuf Rageh.
Hussein Sheikh-Ali, the National Security Adviser to the President of Somalia, was also with them.
The visit took place Wednesday, August 10.
Ambassador Andre, Gen. Odowaa, Sheikh-Ali, and other senior officials from the US and Somalia, visited the warship christened USS Hershel Woody Williams.
The US Ambassador said that the visit was testament to the strong partnership between the US and Somalia.
