Ambassador Mike Nithavrianakis and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held talks at Villa Somalia on the floods rocking Somalia.
Nithavrianakis, the United Kingdom Ambassador to Somalia, visited the President at his Mogadishu office on Tuesday.
Amb. Nithavrianakis admitted that his talks with the Somali President were “excellent.”
They discussed ways of enhancing the strategic partnership between Somalia and the UK too.
Nithavrianakis assured President Mohamud of the support of Somalia in providing humanitarian assistance to victims of the ongoing floods.
Preparations for the upcoming Global Food Summit featured prominently in their talks as well.
