Ambassador Yamamoto Commends HirShabelle President for Role in Elections Progress

Donald Yamamoto, the United States Ambassador to Somalia, has commended the role that President Mohamed Abdi Ware of HirShabelle has played in the ongoing talks on elections.

A communiqué from the US Embassy to Somalia showered President Ware with praise.

In the communiqué, the Embassy commended Ware for leading the calls for reconciliation among politicians.

Furthermore, the broad-based consensus that different political players have embraced to find a lasting solution to the elections-related issues has been applauded by the Embassy too.

President Ware is in Mogadishu to attend elections talks between Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States.
