The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) has condemned the latest wave of terrorist attacks in Mogadishu.
AMISOM spoke out against the attacks that took place in the Somalia capital on February 17.
The Wednesday attacks targeted several security installations in Mogadishu.
Residential areas also felt the wrath of the attacks by the terrorists.
Several government soldiers either died or were injured in the attacks, which also claimed the lives of many civilians.
Fiona Lortan, the Acting Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission for Somalia, spoke out against the latest attacks.
In her speech, Lortan stated that Al-Shabaab had displayed its reckless disregard for human lives.
She spoke of the AUC’s resolute support towards Somalia in the fight against terrorism.
