African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) is to open a conference on reconciliation in Mogadishu on December 3.
The Reconciliation and Conflict Management Conference is for participants from HirShabelle.
AMISOM’s Political Affairs Unit has organized this type of conference for participants from different parts of the country.
Often, the conferences last three days and this week’s is expected to start on Friday and end on Sunday, December 6.
The HirShabelle conference is the third in a series organized by AMISOM’s Political Affairs Unit.
They are designed to help promote reconciliation and conflict resolution as effective methods of enhancing sustainable peace throughout the Horn of Africa country.
