In Garowe today, the President of Puntland State, Said Abdullahi Deni, opened the annual peace conference.
President Deni was in Garowe to open the conference organized by the Puntland Development and Research Center (PDRC).
The conference gathered civil society members, scholars, and representatives from international partners to discuss the significance of peace and explore strategies to promote and sustain it in Puntland.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to foster stability and development in the region, contributing to broader peace-building efforts in Somalia.
