ATMIS Contingent from Djibouti Donates Assorted Items to Beledweyne Flood Victims

The Djiboutian forces serving as part of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) donated an assortment of items to victims of floods in Beledweyne.

The Djiboutian contingent donated the assorted items on Sunday.

Their donations included non-food items such as mosquito nets and tarpaulins.

Thousands of Beledweyne residents had to flee their moves and relocate to safer spaces after floods left them devastated.

Governor Abdullahi Ahmed Maalin Sufuroow commended the ATMIS troops that were under the leadership of Col. Humad Ahmed Mohamed when making the donations.
